I was wondering how we forget people and their contributions. The person I'm talking about is one of the greatest freedom fighters of India. His 100th birthday and nobody seems to be remembering. Is it T20 cricket victory and Dhoni taking place of Independence and Bhagath Singh ?

Hope history is not written by politicians for their political benefit.

Ganesh Chaturti

We celebrate Ganesh Chaturti every year at my uncle's home. I wasn't able to attend it the last year. This year I'm here at home... :)

The celebrations outside on streets seems to be dull this year. May be rains have played some part in dampening the spirits.
But at home, the festival is being celebrated grandly as ever. Had lots of modakas & sweets. Tomorrow is the visarjan of the Ganesha idol.
